JHANSI: Ten-year-old Prashant Tiwari, a class 4 student of Primary School Lakara, Badagaon block in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi read out the Times of India report highlighting efforts of his teacher, Amit Verma (43) to bring two dropout kids back to the school, before his class.


Verma used his own Gandhigiri and took his entire class of 33 students to the house of the two drop outs and started taking class there.

After initial ridicule from villagers, the parents of these two kids who remained absent since almost a month, started sending their wards to the school.
