Three vehicle lifters arrested

LUCKNOW: Alambagh police on Wednesday nabbed three vehicle lifters and recovered two cars from them. The three were arrested from Mawaiya Crossing. Those nabbed identified themselves as Laxmi Narain Pandey, Wahid and Suresh Pasi. Pandey and Pasi belong to Hardoi but were living here in Krishnanagar while their third aide hailed from Allahabad but was living in Manaknagar.
Police also recovered from them two cars that were lifted by them along with two country made firearms, live cartridges, a knife and drugs.According to the police, the three were engaged in the crime for the past few months.
Police also said that another of their aide whom they identified as Raj Kumar alias Sonu managed to escape while the three were arrested around 7.30pm on Wednesday.
The cops were now investigating with regards to other cases of crime lodged against them.
