, Subrata Roy Sahara was operated upon for a neurological disease at the

Kokilaben Hospital

of Mumbai last week. An official statement from the company’s corporate office on Monday said that his surgery was successfully done on January 6. He was discharged on January 10 and is doing fine, it said.“He was detected with a brain disease recently. The doctors advised him for a procedure called brain coiling. The problem was fixed by implanting a stent and an endo-saccular device. The procedure was undertaken by Mumbai based Kokilaben Hospital on January 6. He was discharged on Monday,” the statement said, adding that the company staff prayed for his speedy recovery.
