, states that IG Laxmi Singh is misusing her influence over district police officers and jawans unfairly to impact free and fair elections. He expressed apprehensions that she would influence the elections and their results and that free and fair elections cannot be held till the time she is not transferred out of Lucknow. He said her posting in Lucknow where her husband is contesting elections is a violation of model code of conduct and hence she should be transferred out immediately.
