LUCKNOW: The international media law moot court was inaugurated at Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University on Friday. The competition will deal with international media crisis and protection on journalistic sources.
Emphasizing on the role of media in growing times, vice-chancellor, RMLNLU, Prof Gurdip Singh said, Media has always been a facilitator of bonds between authorities and public.''
Experts spoke on the importance of understanding how media functions.

They also quoted various incidents wherein media played crucial role and also those incidents wherein law and media came face to face and question of media freedom arose.
For the next two days, 26 teams will compete with each other. The preliminary rounds will be held on Saturday followed by the finals on Sunday. The final round will be judged by Justice (retd) Vishnu Sahai, Justice RR Awasthi, Justice DK Arora, Justice DK Upadhyaya, advocate Raj Dipa Behura, and district and sessions court Judge KK Sharma.
