Along with Jammu & Kashmir, BSP chief Mayawati is also eyeing seats in Jharkhand assembly which goes to the polls on November 25. The party is desperate to win a few seats in the two states to save its national party status.
The party is fighting alone on all 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand.
Mayawati will address a rally in Hussainabad on November 23.

Hussainabad has been chosen strategically. BSP candidate Shiv Pujan Mehta had lost in the last assembly election here by a slender margin. Mayawati is hopeful Mehta will win the seat this time.
Jharkhand BSP district president Ashutosh Das told TOI that 59 candidates have filed their nominations. Of them, nine are Muslims, 14 SCs, 11 STs, 14 OBCs and four upper caste.
