High court Justice DK Upadhyaya on Sunday said that a judge should be ‘very careful’ while using social media platform as any callous move on this platform may not only lead to personal troubles for that particular judge, but it may also result in embarrassment for the institution.

LUCKNOW: High court Justice DK Upadhyaya on Sunday said that a judge should be ‘very careful’ while using social media platform as any callous move on this platform may not only lead to personal troubles for that particular judge, but it may also result in embarrassment for the institution.
“In the present times, the work of a judge has acquired multi-dimensional shape,” said Upadhyaya at the training programme at JTRI in Gomtinagar.

As chief guest in five-day NJA training programme for Bangladesh judges and judicial officers, Justice Upadhaya said , “Any training programme for the judges of another country gives us an interesting opportunity to interact and share good ideas and practices with each other.”
Justice AR Masoodi said, “I am happy to see that about 50 judges of Bangladesh district judiciary are participating in this programme.”
Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan said, “Ever since the beginning, both the countries have developed very healthy relationship.”
Additional director, JTRI Kushalpal, welcomed the guests and Irfan Ahmad, OSD, JTRI proposed the vote of thanks.
