Govt appoints education director

Lucknow: The state govt on Monday appointed Pratap Singh Baghel as the in-charge director of secondary education. Baghel was so far serving as the in-charge, basic education director.

Baghel is replaced by Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi who was working as in-charge director, Literacy and Alternative Education. The change is a significant step towards strengthening administrative efficiency and effective monitoring, said a govt spokesperson.

He added that with wide experience in administration, both Baghel and Chaturvedi are expected to help in better implementation of departmental schemes, effective coordination, and timely monitoring.
