From veg manchao soup to kofte ratan manjusha and moong daal halwa, the Rs 11,000 plate to be served by UP unit of the Aam Aadmi Party in its fund raising paid lunch in the city on Saturday will have pure vegetarian Awadhi and north Indian cuisine.

LUCKNOW: From veg manchao soup to kofte ratan manjusha and moong daal halwa, the Rs 11,000 plate to be served by UP unit of the Aam Aadmi Party in its fund raising paid lunch in the city on Saturday will have pure vegetarian Awadhi and north Indian cuisine.
The lunch is being hosted for donors and will be attended by senior party leaders Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh.

The funds raised would be used for party's campaign in upcoming Delhi assembly elections.
“We have been able to collect around Rs 15 lakh in the past one week thorough word of mouth publicity and expect more donation in coming days,” said AAP’s state spokesman Vaibhav Maheshwari. Besides Lucknow, contributions have come from Kanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Sitapur, Bahraich, Ambedkarnagar, Barabanki, Basti and Gorakhpur, he added.
Some Lucknow based NRI’s in Dubai also donated online to support the mission, said Avinash Tripathi, Awadh Zone AAP convenor.
