Lucknow: Maintaining the tradition of previous years, 10 students of Lucknow University have cracked the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission for the post of assistant professor. The selected students were felicitated by LU on Sunday.
As many as seven students of zoology and three students from the physical education department cracked the prestigious national level examination. “Our students have been selected as assistant professors based on the state-level written examination and interview, in which their general knowledge along with academic excellence was evaluated,” said LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
Seven zoology students: Arvind Kumar,

Ramji Dubey

,

Shraddha Sinha

,

Himanshu Mishra

,

Shivangi Yadav

, PG Yadav and Arun Ratan will soon be joining state-run degree colleges as assistant professors.
Also, three students from physical education, Prince Vishal Dixit,

Atish Sharma

and Amit Singh, were selected for the same post.
