Tribal teenager found dead at Kerala's Kuttampuzha

KOCHI: A 15-year-old boy was found dead in a river at Kuttampuzha on Sunday. The boy was from a scheduled tribe family at Pinavoorkudi tribal settlement.
According to police, the teenager was reported missing on Saturday and an investigation was on to find him when he was found dead on Sunday.
He was a Class X student at a school in Aluva. He had gone from his hamlet to Kuttampuzha to do some work at the Akshaya centre there on Saturday.The family had approached the police when he didn’t return.
His body was found on Sunday noon from the river at Kuttampuzha by those who came to the spot to take a bath.
The body has been shifted to Government Medical College Hospital, Ernakulam, and an autopsy will be conducted on Monday. Police said that the exact cause of death can only be known after getting the postmortem report. Kuttampuzha police have registered a case of unnatural death.
