Yoga gurus felicitated on Guru Purnima

Kanpur: Yoga Gurus and Yog Sadhaks (practitioners) were felicitated on the occasion of Guru Purnima on Monday at city’s Jai Narayan Vidya Mandir Inter College.The guests were pleased to witness the balanced Yoga Asanas and activities performed by the practitioners. Chief guest Sunil Kumar Mishra said, “The first Guru in life is the mother. Life moves forward only with guidance of a Guru at every step so it is our responsibility to honor and pay respect and gratitude to our Gurus on the festival of Guru Purnima.” The students of school received blessings of teachers as they applied tilak and offered them sweets. Students performed Guru Vandana and Guru Naman to seek blessings of their Gurus. tnn
