Tributes paid to Bhagat Singh on his martyrdom anniv

Kanpur: On the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of Bhagat Singh, Adhivakta Kalyan Sangharsh Samiti paid tributes to him in a function held at Kanpur Bar Association here on Tuesday.
Ravindra Sharma in his address urged the Government of India to declare Bhagat Singh as a martyr and honour him with Bharat Ratna award posthumously which would be of great respect to him and other freedom fighters.
Bhagat Singh had sacrificed his life at the age of 23 years for the freedom of the country.
Earlier, general secretary of Kanpur Bar Association Rakesh Tiwari said that there was no second example of Bhagat Singh in the entire Indian freedom struggle. tnn
