Sakshi, Tanya win under-17, under-15 grp titles in chess

Kanpur: Sakshi Verma and her sister Tanya Verma won the girls under-17 and under-15 group titles of the 41st Billabong rapid chess championship held here on Saturday. Manikya Armani and Prakshar Gupta of Chintels School won the under-17 and under-15 boys’ group titles respectively.Sakshi in her group collected 4 out of 5 points while Tanya bagged 5 points in her group. Manikya and Prakhar earned 4.5 points in their respective groups.After the event, Dilip Srivastava, secretary, Kanpur chess Association, presented trophies and certificates to the winners.
