KANPUR: Investigating agency CB-CID on Wednesday submitted the chargesheet against Peeyush in the much-publicised Divya rape and murder case before the special chief judicial magistrate court, Kanpur nagar.
The special chief judicial magistrate fixed January 25 as the next date for hearing.
The CB-CID had charged Peeyush, son of school manager Chandrapal, under the sections 302/376 (2) (f), 377 and 511 IPC.
It had already filed chargesheets against two co-accused Chandrapal and Mukesh earlier.
The investigating agency, in its chargesheet, has given the names of 51 witnesses including the school principal, teachers and a couple of students.
It has also submitted the DNA profile, sperm report, report of chief medico-legal experts' opinion and call details of Peeyush as material evidence.
The agency had first charged him under sections 377/302/109 of the IPC. Later, it had amended the charges against Peeyush to sections 376 (2) (f) and 511 (raping a minor girl).
The agency had submitted the chargesheets against Chandrapal and Muksh on December 24 and submitted its report which was of 320 pages.
Both Chandrapal and Mukesh had been charged under sections 304, 120 (B), 201 and 202 of the IPC.
Divya, an 11-year-old girl, was a student of class VI of Bharti Gyan Sthali School in Roshan Nagar of Kalyanpur area.
She was allegedly raped. She died due to her internal injuries on September 27 last year.
The local police had claimed to work-out the case when it had arrested a rickshaw-puller named Munna on October 6.
As the issue was taken up by the media and social organisations, the investigation was handed over to the CB-CID.
Munna was later released by a court on a personal bond when the CB-CID moved an application urging that there was no sufficient evidence against Munna so he should be released.
The court, on that application, had asked Munna to furnish a personal bond of Rs 30,000 before his release.
