Karnataka CM’s charter diverted to Jaipur due to poor weather in Delhi

Jaipur: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s charter flight was diverted to Jaipur due to adverse weather conditions in Delhi Thursday. He was travelling from Bengaluru to Delhi along with other senior Congress leaders.

On Thursday evening, news agency ANI quoting Karnataka chief minister’s office shared that a special flight carrying Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah landed in Jaipur instead of Delhi due to adverse weather conditions. The statement added that state in charge, AICC General Secretary Randeep Surjewala, Ministers KJ George, Bairati Suresh, Legal Advisor Ponnanna, Legislative Council Member Dr Yatindra, AICC Secretary Abhishek Dutt are on the flight.

Four Delhi-bound domestic flights were also diverted to Jaipur Thursday evening. The diverted flights include Air India flight AI 1837 and AI 2718 from Coimbatore, respectively, Air India Express flight IX 1671 from Mumbai and Indigo flight 6E 6150 from Guwahati.

A Jaipur-Chandigarh flight, 6E 7414, was also cancelled due to bad weather in Chandigarh.
