Devendra Kumar displays fine all-round performance in the N C Dutta Memorial Golf tournament at Rambagh Golf Club, Jaipur

Jaipur: Dr Devendra Kumar produced his best ever performance in the 10 to 16 handicap category, scoring 42 points to emerge victorious in the third edition of the monthly medal N C Dutta Memorial Golf tournament held recently at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur.De Devendra Kumar also won the first-place finish (near-to-pin and straightest drive) on Hole No. 2, hitting the ball 4 feet from the pin and 2 inches closer to the line on the straightest drive. With his all-around performance, he became the first golfer to achieve three awards simultaneously in any tournament at the club.But as per the club rules only one person was entitled to receive the award, the award was given to the winner of the 10 to 16 category.Dr Devendra Kumar has been regularly participating in the state and national level golf tournaments for the last several years and won several titles and prizes.
