Madhya Pradesh: ASI caught taking bribe by Lokayukta

INDORE: Lokayukta, Ujjain has caught an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 in Dewas on a complaint, police said.

The Ujjain Lokayukta team based on a complaint trapped ASI identified as Prakash Rajoria. The complainant Anil Fuleria told Lokayukta that ASI Rajoria had demanded Rs 5000 for producing a charge sheet and helping in compromisE.ASI Rajoria was investigating the case. ASI called Rajoria to Dewas with the money near police lines. When the complainant handed over the money to ASI, the lokayukta team immediately trapped him, police said. Accused had been taken to civil lines for further actions in the matter.
