12-year-old girl dies by suicide

Indore: A 12-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide at her home in Aerodrome police station area on Tuesday evening, leaving her family and neighbours in shock.The incident was reported from Pragati Nagar in Chhota Bangarda, where the child was found dead inside her house.DCP Narendra Rawat said the minor had recently cleared Class V from a govt school. The incident surfaced when Radhika’s younger sister, who had been outside with her brother, tried to enter the house but received no response despite repeatedly knocking on the door. She then informed neighbours, who helped open the door and found the girl dead inside.Investigators said the girl’s father had died due to illness around four months ago. She was alone at home when she allegedly took the extreme step.The body was sent for post-mortem examination. Police said no suicide note was recovered from the scene and the reason behind the extreme step remains unknown.
