At 10.5L, women outnumber male voters in Manipur
Imphal: The total number of voters in Manipur stood at 20,26,623, with 10,46,706 females, 9,79,678 males and 239 third gender, according to the electoral rolls published on Monday.
There is a net increase of 18,191 electors from the draft rolls, the office of Manipur Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Pradeep Kumar Jha said in a release.
According to the Election Commission’s schedule, the final photo electoral rolls of all 60 assembly constituencies have been published by the electoral registration officers concerned.

The gender ratio stands at 1,068, compared to 1,066 in the draft electoral rolls published on October 27 last year, the release stated, adding, “The elector population ratio is recorded at 55.54% as compared to 55.04% in the draft rolls.”
The total number of newly enrolled electors is 34,700, with 15,596 males, 19,095 females and nine third gender, it stated.
