Hyderabad: The Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) on Saturday announced the results of the SSC and Intermediate public examinations held between April 20 and 27, with both courses registering a significant improvement in pass percentages compared to last year.
A total of 26,542 of the 36,863 students who appeared for the SSC examination cleared it, taking the overall pass percentage to 72%, up from 57.6% in 2025. In Intermediate, 37,562 out of 54,679 candidates passed, pushing the pass percentage to 68.7%, compared to 59.7% last year.
Girls outperformed boys in both streams. In SSC, girls recorded a pass percentage of 77.8%, while boys secured 66.4%. In Intermediate, girls achieved 73.7%, compared to 63.9% among boys.
Among districts, Jayashankar Bhupalpally topped the SSC results with a pass percentage of 92%, followed by Mahabubabad at 91.7%. Rajanna-Sircilla recorded the lowest SSC pass percentage at 13.9%.
In Intermediate, Yadadri-Bhongir emerged as the top-performing district with 81.6%, closely followed by Kamareddy at 81.3%. Rajanna-Sircilla again ranked last, with a pass percentage of 47.4%.
Students can download memos from the TOSS website from June 4, while applications for recounting and re-verification can be submitted between June 2 and 7.
