Beautician Sirisha was not raped

HYDERABAD: The forensic analysis report confirmed that beautician Vijayalakshmi alias Sirisha was not raped.

Banjara Hills police received a forensic analysis report from Forensic Science Laboratory (

FSL

) and final post-mortem report from the Osmania

General Hospital

(OGH) on Thursday night.

While the final postmortem report confirmed that the death was due to hanging, viscera analysis report stated about the presence of Ethyl Alcohol in the stomach of Sirisha, confirming the statements given by the arrested accused, Rajiv and

Sravan

that they all had alcohol at Kuknurpally SI Prabhakar Reddy’s officials quarters on June 13.

The analysis of victim’s vaginal Swabs and clothes at the FSL has revealed that she was not raped. “The FSL report stated that there was no semen or spermatozoa found during the analysis of vaginal smears and the clothes of the victim. This means the victim was not raped,” West Zone DCP A Venkateswara Rao told TOI.

Rajiv and Sravan have been arrested under the charges of abetting Sirisha’s suicide. With rape angle being ruled out now, police are all set to file a charge-sheet against Rajiv and Sravan.
