AIMIM chief cautions voters on SIR

Hyderabad: AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday appealed to the people to participate in the upcoming SIR exercise without fail.

Interacting with the people in the Charminar area, he sought to caution them by saying that ration cards are being cancelled for those excluded in the SIR, resulting in denial of govt welfare schemes in states like West Bengal. “As such, it is important to ensure that the name of every voter is retained on electoral rolls during SIR,” he said, and urged them to take help from the AIMIM volunteers.
