Gulmohar BAG holds painting expo

Belagavi: Gulmohar BAG (Belgaum Artists’ Group) has organised ‘Prayaas’, a painting exhibition of 34 artists, at KBK Art Gallery in Tilakwadi, Belagavi, from January 22 to 26. In the remaining two days, artists Sneha Kangralkar and Sachin Upadhye will give a demonstration on different art mediums. The exhibition reflects artistic journey of each artist and growth they achieved. Eminent artists Sharad Tarde from Pune, Jayant Hubli from Bengaluru and Parshwanath Nadre from Kolhapur recently opened the exhibition.Bendre award winnersDharwad: Writer and retired district judge Jinadatt Desai and critic Rajendra Chenni have been selected for the Dr Da Raa Bendre National Memorial Trust’s Ambikatanayadatta Award for 2022-23.
