Gurgaon gets another CNG pump, plans six more

The sixth CNG station in the city was thrown open to the public in Sector 57 on Thursday. The pump, located next to an Essar Oil petrol pump, will be operated by Haryana City Gas (HCG) Limited. "The new station will have one compressor and two dispensers. It will distribute 1,200SCMD gas every day and will cater only to cars and autos," Vikas Sehrawat, public relations officer at HCG, said.The pump that is slated to cut the waiting time down by at least 15 minutes, will relieve most city drivers. The new pump will also cut down travelling time to faraway stations. HCG is planning to come up with two more stations in Gurgaon in the next three months. The stations are proposed in sectors 31 and 62. There are plans to open four new pumps in the city by the end of the year.
