IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall at isolated places on June 5 and 6, while rainfall activity is likely at a few places across the state on June 3 and 4.Meteorologists attributed the expected change in weather to multiple systems influencing northwest India. An upper air cyclonic circulation persists over central Pakistan and adjoining northwest Rajasthan at around 0.9 km above mean sea level. In addition, a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect northwest India from June 3, increasing the likelihood of rain and thunderstorm activity across the region.“There will be a rise in maximum temperatures by 2-4 degrees Celsius over the next two days, followed by a fall of 2-3 degrees Celsius during the subsequent three days,” IMD said.
