Tenant verification drive conducted in Pilerne

SALIGAO: In order to keep a check on any potential illegalities in Pilerne village, the village panchayat along with Porvorim police have started a tenant verification drive since Friday, which will continue over the next three days.
Porvorim police went from house-to-house asking house owners to fill tenant verification forms, which helps keep a check on tenants at their premises.“The main purpose is to be vigilant ” sarpanch Amarnath Govekar said.
