500 fruit trees planted at Chapoli: Around 500 fruit-bearing tress were planted at Nagar Van Chapoli, Canacona, to celebrate World Environment Day 2026. The saplings were planted by Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar, in the presence of assistant principal chief conservator of forests Praveen Kumar Raghav, deputy conservator of forests Santosh Kumar Reddy and others.

Moira (June 8): From 8.30am to 1pm. Areas to be affected are Sainagar and vicinity, Bambordem, Sataporia, and the surrounding areas.

Vaddem (June 8): From 9.30am to 5pm. Areas to be affected are Old Vaddem, Vaddem col no 01, Vaddem col no 02, Gauliwada, and vicinity

Vasco (June 8): From 9am to 2pm. Areas to be affected are Chicalim panchayat, waterways shipyard, Chicalim post office and vicinity.

Sancoale (neSimilarly, a power shut down has been arranged on June 9 from 9am to 12pm at 11KV Ashoka feeder from Sancoale Substation, to carry out routine maintenance works. Affected areas are Jutex, Zuarinagar and surrounding areas.
