'Next shot will be in your chest': Lawrence Bishnoi gang claims responsibility for shootings targeting Indians in Portugal
NEW DELHI: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for two recent shooting incidents targeting Indian nationals residing in Portugal.
In a social media post that has rapidly gone viral, an operative identifying himself as Rahul RK Meena, a member of the notorious Sunil Meena Gang, explicitly took credit for the targeted attacks on behalf of an alliance of criminal syndicates operating internationally.
The post details a recent shooting at the residence of Gurpreet Singh Gill in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Portugal, as well as a previous attack executed on May 6 against another individual named Gurdeep Singh in Sintra, Portugal.
According to the online statement, the group asserted that these initial gunfire incidents were intentionally carried out as a stern warning to "open their eardrums," while issuing explicit, lethal threats of escalation if the targets do not comply with their demands.
The operative boldly declared that the syndicate's operational network spans globally, boasting that the victims cannot escape their reach even by fleeing deeper into Europe.
The social media post concluded with aggressive warnings and included hashtags referencing several affiliated criminal networks, including the Sunil Meena Gang, Rahul Dubey Gang, and Aman Sahu Gang, indicating a heavily organized transcontinental extortion and intimidation racket.
International law enforcement agencies and local Portuguese authorities are reportedly monitoring the situation as investigations into the cross-border activities of these syndicates continue.
