Heatwave alert for Gurgaon

The maximum temperature Gurgaon is expected to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next two days, with heatwave conditions likely from May 16. So far, the city has not recorded any heatwave this season.

Ahmedabad second highest temperature

At 41.7°C, Ahmedabad recorded second highest maximum temperature on Sunday in Gujarat after 42°C in Surendranagar. The temperature was nearly on a par with normal, whereas at 29.6°C, the minimum temperature was 2.5 degrees higher.

Heat stroke

The district administration has issued an advisory for people to protect themselves from heat stroke and has also asked all the health institutions, from district hospital to sub-health centres, in Bhopal to be alert for a possible spurt in the cases of heat stroke.
