Delhi CM meets German state delegation

New Delhi: Chief minister Rekha Gupta on Monday held talks with German state of Thuringia’s minister-president, Mario Voigt, at Delhi Secretariat, where they explored avenues for deeper cooperation in areas such as smart urban development, digital governance, skill development and environmental technologies. They discussed opportunities to strengthen collaboration in sustainable infrastructure, innovation-driven governance, talent mobility, education and workforce development. Mobility solutions, water management and green technologies were at the forefront of the discussions.

Gupta said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the India-Germany partnership continues to grow stronger across diverse sectors. “Delhi is proud to contribute to this shared journey of innovation, sustainability and human development,” she added.

CMO said that there is growing engagement between Delhi and international partners on issues related to urban transformation and sustainable growth. Delhi govt highlighted the capital’s focus on leveraging technology and innovation to improve public service delivery and urban infrastructure.

CM said that the discussions aligned with the broader India-Germany partnership, which has expanded across multiple sectors in recent years, and she looks forward to exploring new opportunities for collaboration with Thuringia and contributing to the shared goals of innovation, sustainability and inclusive development.
