: In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, three IAS officers and as many PCS officers were given new postings by the state government on Tuesday. The transfers came barely a few days after a major reshuffle on June 27, when 25 IAS officers and 9 PCS officers were given new charges.
In a major change, Sushil Kumar has been made the new excise commissioner. He will also hold the post of secretary, Revenue, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. He replaces Ranveer Singh Chauhan, who has been given the charge of additional secretary, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Matters.
Interestingly, Deependra Singh Chaudhary was the excise commissioner till June 27. After he was made the district magistrate of Haridwar, the charge went to Ranveer Singh Chauhan. However, within a week, Singh was replaced by Sushil Kumar.
Chandresh Kumar Yadav, who is the additional secretary, Information Technology, has also been given the charge of additional secretary of Sugarcane, Sugar and Managing Director of Uttarakhand Sugar Federation. Pratap Singh Shah had earlier held the post of managing director, Uttarakhand Sugar Federation.
PCS officer Rajendra Prasad Yadav has been made the additional secretary of Dugdh Vikas and Mahila Dairy. The charge of additional secretary, Home, was withdrawn from him.
Meharban Singh Bisht, the additional secretary to the chief minister, has also been made the additional secretary of Information.
