Coimbatore: Toilet contractor fined for fleecing

COIMBATORE: The city corporation slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on a toilet contractor for fleecing users. The man was collecting Rs 5 instead of Rs 1 for using the toilet near the Gandhipuram Town Bus Terminal.

, who inspected the bus terminal on Monday, found the discrepancy and instructed

to take action against the contractor.

Sunkara inspected the portion of the terminal, from where cement plaster fell on

passengers

recently.
