CHENNAI: Prakruthi, an ecocare conservation centre with Project Tiger - Nilgiris, will organise a four-day residential wildlife conservation camp for school students in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve between October 4 and 7. 'Save the tiger' camp commemorates the wildlife week by allowing children to experience outdoor learning. Campers will be taken on birdwatching and hiking trips.
E K Nareshwar, camp director, will be assisted by a team of naturalists. Interpretation will be on the basis of experiential learning on habit protection, study of fauna and flora and tribal habitation in the reserve. A total of 50 students will be enrolled for the camp.
