TN makes fresh round of IAS postings

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu govt on Tuesday issued a fresh round of IAS transfers and postings.S Saravanan, who was the Dindigul collector, has been appointed joint commissioner (works), GCC, replacing V Sivakrishnamurthy. The latter has been posted as joint MD of the TN Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) Board. Durga Moorthy, who served as collector of Namakkal, was transferred as collector of Dindigul.M Birathiviraj, deputy commissioner (revenue and finance), GCC, has been posted as commissioner of Karur corporation. V Deepanavisveswari is commissioner of Thanjavur corporation, while S Kishan Kumar is commissioner of Cuddalore corporation. Former Theni collector Ranjeet Singh has been posted as collector of Tenkasi.The govt also transferred Sajjan Singh R Chavan, secretary to govt, youth welfare and sports development department, as secretary to the governor at Raj Bhavan. Rashmi Siddharth Zagade has been posted as special secretary to govt and Har Sahay Meena as principal secretary and commissioner of land reforms.Ajay Yadav has been posted as commissioner of Milk Production and Dairy Development and will additionally serve as MD of Aavin. Dr J Vijaya Rani was posted as director of Horticulture and Plantation Crops, while P Kumaravel Pandian has been posted as member secretary of the State Planning Commission. T Anbalagan was posted as vice-chairman and chief executive officer of the TN Maritime Board and R Anamika as joint MD of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board.
