These Chennai suburban trains won’t run on June 5
CHENNAI: Southern Railway has announced changes in late-night suburban EMU services in Chennai on June 5 owing to engineering work between Kodambakkam and St Thomas Mount stations.
Railways said line block and power block would be carried out from 11.05pm on June 5 to 3.05am on June 6, resulting in cancellation and partial cancellation of services.
Chennai Beach–Tambaram EMU locals leaving Chennai Beach at 11.40pm and 11.59pm will be cancelled. Two late-night services from Guduvancheri and Chengalpet to Chennai Beach will be partially cancelled.
