Agniveer scheme awareness programme conducted in Tiruvallur
CHENNAI: Tiruvallur district administration on Tuesday conducted an awareness programme on the Army recruitment rally through the Agniveer scheme.
Collector Alby John along with Colonel M K Bathre, director, Army recruitment office headquarters in Chennai, explained the eligibility and the application process. They asked male and female candidates to utilise the opportunity to join the Army.
Apart from videos on the Army's official site to help candidates prepare for the exam, in-person training classes were organised in Tiruvallur with the help of the study circles, Alby John told reporters.
