Reconstitute MSP panel, says Harsimrat

Chandigarh: SAD MP from Bathinda Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Monday demanded reconstitution of the minimum support price (MSP) committee in the Lok Sabha based on the assurance given to farm unions when they lifted their protest a year ago. She asked for legalising farmers’ right to MSP and fixing it to ensure 50% profit on cost of production as recommended by the Swaminathan panel. TNN
