Kabaddi player’s mother attacked in Moga village

Bathinda: The mother of national-level kabaddi player Kulwinder Singh Kinda was on Wednesday night attacked with swords at Badhni Kalan village in Moga district and moved to a hospital with serious injuries.Kinda uploaded a small video clip of his shrieking after the attack, asking people to save his mother, while some of his neighbours claimed that he had made both the attack as well as the video to mislead the cops.After checking the clip on Thursday morning, police began a manhunt for the attackers. Nihal Singh Wala deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Manjit Singh said that: “We have several theories to examine before moving ahead with the investigation.”
