BJP-JJP made fun of farmers by increasing price of sugarcane by only Rs 14: Bhupinder Singh Hooda
Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda criticized the BJP-JJP government for increasing the price of sugarcane by only Rs 14 per quintal. He compared this to the Congress government's record-breaking increase of Rs 193 per quintal. Hooda promised to raise the price to Rs 450 per quintal when the Congress government comes into power. He also accused the BJP government of failing to double farmers' income as promised, with expenses and debts increasing instead. Hooda stated that the low increase in the sugarcane price is discouraging farmers from cultivating it.
