Congress bags posts in 10 blocks
FEROZEPUR: In the elections of panchayat samiti's chairman and vice-chairman, held on Tuesday, the Congress candidates won the post of chairman in all the 10 blocks of the district.
From the Abohar block, Hardeep Kaur was elected as chairperson, while Udami Ram as vice-chairman (V-C). In Fazilka block, chairman''s elections could not be held, but Des Raj Amboj was VC.
While in Ferozepur block, Rajinder Kumar Sharma and Soma were elected as chairman and VC respectively.
