BHUBANESWAR/ROURKELA: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan participated in a Tiranga rally and other programmes under the Centre’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at different places in Sundargarh district on Saturday.

Pradhan inaugurated the exhibition on Har Ghar Tiranga and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Rourkela railway station before attending the 19th convocation ceremony of National Institute of Technology (NIT) ,Rourkela, as chief guest.

He took part in the Tiranga Yatra at Birsa square in Rourkela. A bike rally was organised from Birsa square to the newly constructed second Brahmani bridge through the main road. Around 4,000 people, including a large number of BJP workers, participated in the bike rally.

“Salute the spirit of the people of Sundargarh for the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. Gratitude to them for joining the Tiranga Yatra in huge numbers despite the rain. May the symbol of the pride of our nation, our national flag, always flutter in our hearts, homes and skies,” said Pradhan.
