8k ‘excluded’ Subhadra beneficiaries reinstated

Bhubaneswar: More than 8,000 beneficiaries, whose names were mistakenly dropped (opt-out), have been reinstated under the Subhadra Yojana, the women and child development department said. The option to re-enrol (opt-in) on the Subhadra portal is now available. Govt urged eligible beneficiaries whose names were mistakenly excluded (opt-out) to check the details.
Furthermore, the first instalment of the scheme for the fourth phase will be disbursed soon. However, over 2 lakh applicants are yet to complete their e-KYC or have done so only via OTP. Even if deemed eligible, these applicants might face delays in receiving the money, official sources said. The department advised applicants to visit the nearest Jana Seva Kendra or Mo Seva Kendra to complete their e-KYC using biometric verification at the earliest.TNN
