Soumya to bear training expenses of five needy women cricketers

Bhopal: Women's U-19 cricket world cup winning team player Soumya Tiwari took a pledge on Saturday that she will raise the training expenses of five poor women cricketers from the World Cup fees.
A victory rally of world champion team member Soumya Tiwari was taken out from her house to Arera Cricket Academy. Unprecedented reception was witnessed for her at various places enroute rally.
Abhilash Khandekar, President of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, chief guest and Mohnish Mishra welcomed the rally at Arera Academy. Soumya and her coach Suresh Chainani were felicitated on the occasion.
Soumya dedicated her medal to coach and parents and announced that to promote women's cricket, she will spend the training fees of 5 girls at Arera Academy from her match fee. So that they too can perform like her. Khandekar, on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, announced to give the annual award amount of 7.5 lakh to Soumya.
