Free safari in PTR & cinema for families of 4 ‘high-performing’ BLOs
Pilibhit: Families of four booth-level officers (BLOs) who demonstrated ‘exceptional performance' in completing draft electoral rolls ahead of schedule were provided with free safaris at Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR) and free cinema tickets on National Voters' Day, observed annually on Jan 25. The safari vehicles were flagged off by district magistrate Gyanendra Singh on Sunday. He highlighted the achievements of Chandra Mohan Gangwar from 127-Pilibhit City, Sachin Kumar Katheria from 128-Barkhera, Amanat Rasool from 129-Puranpur and Neeraj Devi from 130-Bisalpur constituencies.Additionally, four BLOs—one from each assembly constituency—were felicitated for registering the highest number of first-time voters. Another four were recognised for maximising women voters, and separate four were awarded for highest overall voters registered on electoral rolls. Supervisors of these BLOs were also honoured.
