St John School honours kickboxing champion in Aurangabad
AURANGABAD:
The class IX boy took part in the national level held at New Delhi, recently.
The win has also paved the way for his participation in the world championship to be held at Germany in near future. “Aniket has shown that even if the path to fulfilling dreams is going to be full of hard work, impossible can be made possible,” school authorities said, while felicitation event.
“He battled all odds and went on to claim a gold medal at the national cadet and junior kickboxing championship in the under-15 age category. He defeated his opponent from Orissa to clinch title at the concluding event, becoming the first player from school to achieve such a feat,” school principal
Responding to the felicitation, Aniket appreciated school management and parents for motivating and guiding him to achieve milestone. Aniket’s parents along with members of teaching and non-teaching staff and other students were also present.
