EO inspects Radhasapthami festival arrangements at Tirumala

and other officials of the TTD, EO Anil Kumar Singhal inspected the galleries in the four mada streets around the main temple complex at Tirumala earlier in the day.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the inspections, EO Anil Kumar Singhal said the temple administration has spent nearly Rs. 1.6 crore for erection of German shelter sheds along the galleries around the four mada streets for the convenience of the devotees to comfortably view the mini-Brahmotsavams proceedings at Tirumala on Saturday.

TTD has also made elaborate arrangements in terms of security for the Radhasapthami festival by engaging the services of 300 security guards of the TTD, 1000 police personnel from the Tirupati urban police wing, 600 persons from the NCC and scouts and guides.

Because the series of 7 processions begin as early as 5.30 am in the morning and ends at 9 pm on Saturday, TTD has set up 64 food counters and has procured 1.75 lakh half litre water bottles, two lakh butter milk sachets etc to be distributed to the devotees in the galleries during the processions.
