Shobha yatra on Easter

ALLAHABAD:Yeshu Darbar of Allahabad Agricultural Institute-Deemed University organised a Shobha yatra on the occasion of Easter. The procession started from Yeshu Darbar, Naini. It began after a prayer by president of Yeshu Darbar, Bishop Prof Rajendra B Lal and vice president of Yeshu Darbar Dr Sudha Lal.
The yatra displayed eight exhibitions which covered different phases from Jesus' crucifixion till his journey to the heaven.According to Christian scriptures, Jesus was resurrected from the dead three days after his crucifixion. Many Christian denominations celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day or Easter Sunday (also called Resurrection Day or Resurrection Sunday), two days after Good Friday.
