Over 2L appear in TGT exams
Prayagraj: On the second day of the written examination for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission — a total of 2,12,975 candidates appeared in the examination held on Thursday across the state in a peaceful, transparent, malpractice-free, and well-organized environment.
During this intensive monitoring and verification process, a fraudulent candidate was apprehended in the Varanasi district while attempting to take the examination in place of another applicant.
In two days, a total of 4,34,464 candidates participated in the examination, representing 50.02 percent of the total registered candidates. On Thursday, the attendance rate recorded was 49.16 percent for female candidates and 52.17 percent for male candidates.
