Officials inspect exam centres on 2nd day of UP Police constable recruitment

Prayagraj: District Magistrate (Prayagraj) Manish Kumar Verma, accompanied by Additional Police Commissioner (Law & order) Ajay Pal Sharma, on Tuesday inspected examination centres including Agrasen Inter College and Prayag Mahila Vidyapeeth Inter College on the second day of the written examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Civil Police Constable and equivalent ranks in the Uttar Pradesh Police.

DM examined various arrangements at the centres, including candidate entry procedures, identity verification, CCTV surveillance, security measures, seating arrangements, and the availability of drinking water and electricity. He also visited the examination halls to assess the setup and instructed the centre superintendents and officials concerned to ensure 100% compliance with the guidelines issued by the government.

He issued instructions that no negligence, irregularity regarding the conduct of the exam would be tolerated under any circumstances. He directed all officials and staff to discharge their duties with utmost vigilance, responsibility, and coordination.
